KM Designs on Elm St

Main Street Chillicothe is thrilled to welcome KM Designs to its new home at 209 Elm Street. As one of this year’s selected recipients, Kim received a grant of $5,000 through Main Street Chillicothe’s Facade Grant Program. This competitive initiative rewards downtown property and business owners who apply and are chosen for their commitment to enhancing their building’s exterior. Eligible improvements include signage, awnings, lighting, paint, masonry work, window and door replacement, and other upgrades that enhance downtown’s appeal, draw people in, and contribute to a thriving community.

The building at 209 Elm Street carries a bit of Chillicothe history. In the 1980s, it was owned by Raymond Radcliff and housed Radcliff Construction Company until the late 1990s. Now, thanks to Kim Marshall’s vision, it’s experiencing a new chapter.

Kim, owner of KM Designs, specializes in remodeling and design—handling everything from project management to creative planning, and often both. Her and her team’s expertise spans house design, sheetrock, trim, furnishings, and more. She currently has several projects in motion, including the near-completion of the Chillicothe Grand River Multipurpose Center remodel.

As part of the Facade Grant improvements, Kim has transformed the space with, new storefront glass, capped window seals, fresh signage, tuckpointing, new windows and doors, and a welcoming new awning.

Her plans for the building include creating a design studio and showroom, complete with a mock kitchen, bath, dining room, and living room. This space will serve as a collaborative hub where she can meet with clients, contractors, and her team to craft the perfect home or commercial space for every project.

Main Street Chillicothe celebrates this exciting transformation and looks forward to seeing KM Designs thrive in its new location while contributing to the beauty and vitality of downtown.
