Tech Tip: Clear Images & Graphics are a MUST
Sharing photos or graphics on your page or website? Make sure they're high quality.
Perception & Reputation are Important
Check out this short video regarding branding.
We've now established the fact that branding is everything - from your company culture, to your employees, to the designs you share with the world and the things your business achieves.
As mentioned - some of those things can hurt your brand. The one we're focusing on today:
• Using low resolution images and graphics on your social media accounts and website are sending the message that your business is of low-quality.
It sounds harsh, but it's true - and I want our businesses to know this so they have the power to intentionally choose high quality representations of their messaging, products, locations, and people to share with the world.
Elements that make up YOUR brand:
An Example
This Luxury Lipstick graphic has the elements you'll want to focus on when creating content for your brand:
1. Sharp, clear, in-focus image and text. No pixelation and nothing is blurry.
2. Feature YOUR product. That better be a real picture of the product you're selling - not an AI image, and not another person or company's product.
3. Readability. Though this graphic features fonts that aren't especially easy to read, they've chosen them for a reason. There's enough contrast for someone with low vision to see the text, and the main text is nice and large.
4. Aligns with the brand. This brand sells luxury lipstick - they're going for a sophisticated, "shiny" vibe. What elements from your logo, branding, products, or physical location can you incorporate into your marketing materials and communications?
