Empowering Local Leaders: 2026 Kansas Farm Bureau Campaign Schools

Are you considering running for public office? Whether it's the school board, county commission, or a state-level seat, having a solid game plan is the first step toward a winning campaign.

The Kansas Farm Bureau (KFB) has announced its 2026 Campaign School schedule, offering nonpartisan, unbiased guidance for anyone interested in effective public service. With an 80% success rate for past attendees, these sessions provide the tools needed to navigate the complexities of modern campaigning.

Why Attend Campaign School?

Running for office can be daunting, but you don't have to do it alone. The KFB Campaign Schools are designed to "demystify" the process. This year, the curriculum is bolstered by the Engaged Kansas Coalition, a partnership of statewide organizations (including the Kansas Chamber and various professional associations) dedicated to building civic-minded leaders.

Key Topics Covered:

  • Strategy & Tactics: How to plan and execute a campaign of any size.

  • Issue Selection: Identifying and communicating the messages that matter most to voters.

  • Fundraising: Navigating the financial side of a run for office.

  • Voter Identification: Learning how to find and engage your supporters.
