Position Overview: PC Little Learners (PCLL) is seeking a caring, dependable, and energetic individual to join the PC Little Learners team! As a member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the development, safety, and well-being of young children in our care. This is a hands-on position that involves nurturing children, implementing activities, and creating a positive environment where children can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and engage with children in daily activities including play, meals, learning time, and rest periods
• Support classroom routines and transitions with patience and positivity
• Assist in implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities under the guidance of the Director
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
• Build strong, respectful relationships with children, parents, and co-workers
• Assist with diapering, toileting, and hygiene routines as needed
• Monitor children's behavior and respond with appropriate guidance and redirection
• Communicate effectively with parents at drop-off/pick-up and during the day, as needed
• Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and center events
• Ensure compliance with all state licensing and health/safety regulations

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with children in a licensed child care center, school, or similar setting
• A warm, nurturing, and patient demeanor
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to learn and follow classroom procedures and early childhood best practices
• Dependable and punctual work habits

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED (required)
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must pass a background check and health screening
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training and education

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry young children (up to 40 lbs)
• Ability to sit on the floor, bend, squat, and move quickly in response to children's needs
• Active participation indoors and outdoors
